On the 8th, the Ministry of Economy and Finance announced that it held a practice declaration ceremony to promote a culture of work-family balance among its employees.
The practice declaration focuses on expanding flexible work infrastructure through the activation of flexible working hours and remote work, support for leave during infertility treatment procedures, maternity protection time, and childcare time. It also includes spreading a performance evaluation culture and encouraging the free use of annual leave. The entire Ministry of Economy and Finance staff expressed their commitment to striving for work-life balance, enhancing work performance, and providing high-quality public services.
Choi Sang-mok, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, stated, “Practicing work-family balance is a timely task to protect the sustainability of the Republic of Korea from the low birthrate crisis.
