Hana Securities forecasted on the 8th that Motrex's performance improvement speed will accelerate as it secured Stellantis, a finished car manufacturer, as a client.
Choi Jae-ho, a researcher at Hana Securities, explained, "Motrex's main product is vehicle infotainment (IVI) specialized in global localization," adding, "IVI, which combines information and entertainment, is a core element of smart cars and is expanding its application models."
He continued, "The major customers in the automotive electronics business were Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors," and added, "Recently, a genuine IVI supply contract worth approximately 98.7 billion KRW was signed for Stellantis."
He emphasized, "the supplied brand is ‘FIAT’ and it is understood to be applied to two models," and "the supply region is South America, and Motrex is the first and only domestic company to supply IVI to Stellantis."
Researcher Choi analyzed, "After securing Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors as clients, Motrex has been rapidly growing by expanding the IVI application models," and "With Stellantis as a client, a sharp performance improvement is expected due to the increase in sales volume."
