53 of 131 Campaign Promises Completed and Implemented
Chungnam Province announced on the 7th that it received the highest grade (SA) from the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters for achieving over 40% of its pledges.
According to the nationwide evaluation of city and provincial governors' pledge fulfillment and information disclosure released by the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters on the same day, the province achieved the highest grade (overall score of 83 or above) in both pledge fulfillment and goal achievement categories.
Out of a total of 131 pledges, 53 (40.5%) have been completed or are in progress, which is 13% higher than the national average (27.4%).
A provincial official stated, "Since pledges are promises to the residents, we will prioritize them as the top administrative task and will not spare budget or manpower support," adding, "We will also share the progress of pledge implementation with the public."
