Private Sector Participation... Uncovering Hidden Regulations in Industrial Complexes
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 7th that it will launch the ‘Corporate Difficulty Resolution Supporters’ to identify and resolve regulations affecting companies in industrial complexes and to support technology certification.
The supporters consist of 29 members appointed mainly from resident company management councils, global leading company associations, and industry-academia-research councils, which are self-governing organizations in major industrial complexes. They will play a leading role in representing the voices of resident companies in each region’s industrial complexes, from identifying regulations and difficulties faced by companies in the industrial field to resolving them.
Additionally, the supporters will participate in all processes of resolving regulations and difficulties by utilizing the network among resident companies in industrial complexes, including ▲collecting cases of corporate difficulties ▲identifying problems ▲deriving improvement measures ▲reflecting policies.
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation plans to support the resolution of field difficulties identified by the supporters in cooperation with the government, local governments, and related organizations. It will also provide expert consultations and customized consulting for companies facing difficulties with technical regulations and certifications, together with the National Institute of Technology and Standards and testing and certification institutions.
Lee Sang-hoon, President of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, said, “The supporters’ activities will play a role in discovering and resolving hidden regulations in industrial complexes,” adding, “We will continue to promote regulatory improvement activities that respond to changes such as technological development and digital transformation in the industrial field.”
