Socially Responsible Investment Bonds or ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) bonds are bonds issued with the purpose of contributing to the environment or society, including ▲Green Bonds ▲Social Bonds ▲Sustainability Bonds ▲Sustainability Linked Bonds.

The ESG Bond Information Platform is an ESG bond information portal established by the Korea Exchange in June 2020 to provide various information related to ESG bonds.

A Korea Exchange official stated, "Recently, the term ESG bonds has been used more frequently than Socially Responsible Investment Bonds, and there were opinions that the term 'dedicated segment' is difficult for general users to intuitively understand. Reflecting these circumstances, we decided to change the name to 'ESG Bond Information Platform.'"

He added, "Since its launch, the ESG Bond Information Platform has established itself as a unique ESG bond information portal in Korea, with a significant increase in registered bonds and visitors. We will continue to provide diverse information related to ESG bonds through the platform to enhance the transparency of ESG bonds and promote the culture of ESG investment."
