Gangseo-gu, Small Business Startup Academy on 27-28 This Month... First-Come, First-Served Registration

Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) announced on the 7th that it will hold the 'Small Business Startup Academy' on the 27th and 28th of this month to support the successful startups of small business owners and is recruiting participants.

The district, together with the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, has prepared the academy to increase the success rate of startups by providing systematic management techniques and marketing utilization methods, as well as other startup secrets, to entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs.

The lectures will be held at the Gangseo Lifelong Learning Center lecture room from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Startup experts such as Jang Dong-geun, a management consultant at the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, and Kwon Young-san, CEO of O&N Consulting, will serve as instructors and deliver necessary information for startups including ▲online marketing ▲various startup support systems ▲commercial area analysis ▲tax and labor issues.

Applications can be made online through the Seoul Small Business Academy website from the 7th to the 21st of this month. Anyone interested in starting a business can apply, and the tuition is free. However, enrollment is limited to the first 35 applicants and may close early.

District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, “With high interest rates, high prices, and weakened consumer sentiment, thorough preparation is necessary for startups,” adding, “I hope the Startup Academy will be of great help to small business owners’ successful startups.” For more details, please contact the Gangseo-gu Regional Economy Division.
