Daishin Securities evaluated NH Investment & Securities as having a groundbreaking shareholder return policy and a high return rate on the 7th. They maintained a 'Buy' investment rating and a target price of 16,000 KRW.
Park Hyejin, a researcher at Daishin Securities, stated, "The shareholder return policy is more groundbreaking than expected, but since it has not been publicly announced or disclosed, market perception is lower than anticipated." She pointed out, "This year, treasury stock repurchases and cancellations are expected to amount to 70 billion KRW, and assuming a dividend per share (DPS) of 900 KRW, the total return rate is 64.3%, the highest among securities firms under coverage."
Park added, "Some express concerns regarding real estate project financing (PF) and overseas real estate, but conservative risk management is an advantage," and explained, "Additionally, the bond management strategy changed since last year has significantly reduced trading profit volatility."
Furthermore, she said, "Corporate finance (IB) remains smooth, and especially in relation to private equity fund (PEF) tender offers, multiple deals such as Lock&Lock, Connect Wave, and Lutronic are underway," adding, "The debt capital market (DCM) league table has also reclaimed first place, demonstrating continued strength in IB."
