"Indoors, so it's actually better"... Despite the heavy rain, children's smiles bloom brightly in Dobong-gu

Oh Eon-seok, the mayor of Dobong-gu, spent time with local children by participating in the '5♥5 Dobongbong Festival' held at the Seoninbong Hall of Dobong-gu Office on May 5th.

The event was originally scheduled to take place on the 7-lane road in front of Dobong-gu Office, but due to rain and for the safety of the children, it was held inside the Dobong-gu Office. Although the venue was changed suddenly, the atmosphere was rather positive.

One parent said, “Thanks to the well-organized programs in the indoor space, we were able to spend meaningful time with our children. I would like to express my gratitude to the Dobong-gu officials who worked hard to prepare the event.”

Oh Eon-seok, mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “Since Children's Day comes only once a year, we decided to change the venue indoors instead of postponing the schedule for the children who have been eagerly waiting. Nevertheless, I am glad that many children and families came and had a happy time.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to prepare events and programs for local children.”
