Convenience store 7-Eleven announced on the 6th that it has launched a 'see-through hamburger' using transparent packaging material, allowing customers to visually check the contents.
The products include two types: 'Tangy Shrimp Burger' and 'Juicy Bulgogi Burger.' The see-through hamburger reveals the core ingredients such as the patty and vegetables. Since customers can see the contents with their own eyes, the quality and quantity of the hamburger ingredients have also been upgraded.
Earlier last month, 7-Eleven released rice balls and sandwiches with transparent hard cases.
Jinbae Cho, MD (Merchandiser) of the 7-Eleven Food Team, said, "Recently, with the 'Healthy Pleasure' trend of enjoying health consciously, more young customers are carefully considering convenience store food before purchasing. In line with this trend, we plan to expand transparent packaging products further."
