Daejeon City announced that Mintec Co., Ltd., located in Taprip-dong, Yuseong-gu, was newly listed on the KOSDAQ market on the 3rd. This is the third listing among Daejeon-based companies in the first half of this year, following Hanbit Laser (January) and Kosem (February).
Mintec, established in 2015, is a specialized company in battery and energy storage device diagnostic technology. It commercialized the third-generation battery diagnostic technology for the first time in Korea and occupies more than 90% of the domestic EIS battery diagnostic market.

Daejeon City aims to foster 100 listed companies by 2030 by establishing a virtuous cycle of corporate growth from startup to listing.
As part of this plan, on the 2nd, Daejeon City signed a 'Daejeon Promising Companies Listing Support Business Agreement' with the Korea Exchange and KAIST to cooperate in operating a corporate listing (IPO) support center and jointly developing customized support programs according to the timing of listings.
Han Sun-hee, Director of the Strategic Business Promotion Office of Daejeon City, said, "We are pleased that our efforts to discover promising local companies and activate listings have led to visible results," adding, "We will continue to make more proactive and aggressive efforts from two perspectives: supporting existing listed companies and discovering new listed companies."
