Accelerating Growth of Small and Medium Brands
'Brand Boosting Program'
The average transaction growth rate of companies participating in the small and medium-sized brand growth program of the beauty platform Hwahae recorded approximately 30,000%.
Birdview, the operator of Hwahae, announced on the 3rd that the average transaction growth rate of flagship products of brands participating in the 'Brand Boosting Program (BBP)' increased by about 30,000% over 8 months.
This program provides various business tools within the application to help small and medium-sized brands with strong product capabilities grow. It enables purchase conversion through brand exposure, increased awareness, and content such as reviews, and early-stage brands can build branding assets by utilizing consumer feedback. Brands participating in BBP can receive support such as commerce planning exhibitions, sales and marketing consulting from Hwahae beauty experts, and advertising and marketing targeting Hwahae users.
A total of 12 brands participated in the BBP held last August, among which 70% of the brands entered the top 5 in category rankings. In addition, the vegan mask pack brand 'Primey' and the derma cosmetic brand 'Mediheal' also won awards at the 2023 Hwahae Beauty Awards. In particular, Primey saw a 4600% increase in product views within the app and a 280,000% increase in transaction amount after product launch.
Lee Woong, CEO of Birdview, said, "We are enhancing the program so that early-stage brands with strong products but difficulty securing distribution channels can use BBP as a growth foothold," adding, "We will ensure that these brands are recognized not only in the domestic market but also in the global beauty market."
