Applications accepted at local community centers in resident registration locations from May 9 to 21
Companion jobs work from July 1 to December 20, community jobs work from July 1 to October 31
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) is recruiting participants for the second half of the year for the Donghaeng Job Program and the Local Community Job Program.
The Donghaeng Job Program targets residents aged 18 or older with work ability living in the district, who are members of households with an income at or below 80% of the median income and assets of 499 million KRW or less. A total of 340 participants will be recruited, and those who have participated twice in the past 1 year and 6 months are not eligible to reapply.
Selected participants will be assigned to 46 projects related to supporting socially vulnerable groups and will work from July 1 to December 20.
The Local Community Job Program targets residents aged 18 or older with work ability living in the district, who are members of households with an income at or below 70% of the median income and assets of 499 million KRW or less. A total of 20 participants will be recruited, excluding those who have participated for 2 or more years within the past 3 years.
Selected participants will work at 6 project sites, including park creation and maintenance projects, from July 1 to October 31.
Both programs operate on a five-day workweek. Wages for those aged 64 and under are 50,000 KRW for 5 hours of work per day, and for those aged 65 and over, 30,000 KRW for 3 hours of work per day. Snack allowances are provided separately.
Applications can be submitted at the resident center of the applicant’s registered address from May 9 to 21. After screening, the district office will individually notify successful applicants in June.
