Makebot Selected as a Mega-scale AI Platform Company

Makebot Co., Ltd. (CEO Jiwoong Kim) is participating as a supplier company in NIA (National Information Society Agency of Korea)'s 'Support Project for Using Ultra-large AI Platforms and Developing Ultra-large AI-based Services' to support demand companies.

This project is a support initiative to help freely utilize ultra-large artificial intelligence in the private and public sectors, aimed at realizing the Digital Platform Government, a new national governance model for the AI and data era, which is one of the government's core national tasks.

Selected as an ultra-large AI platform provider, Makebot Co., Ltd. is a leading AI chatbot company in Korea that has developed the largest number of AI chatbot services in the country for clients such as Korean Air, CJ OnStyle, Lotte Chilsung, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and Korea Tourism Organization, based on various platforms including Kakao, web chat, mobile chat, Naver, Facebook, and Line.

Makebot Co., Ltd. is developing and providing Korean-style generative AI services optimized for domestic industrial environments, based on various ideas and requirements regarding generative AI and LLM (Large Language Models) derived from chatbot operation experiences of various clients. Going forward, it plans to help ultra-large AI be freely used in both private and public sectors through the expansion of various AI technology provision businesses.

This year, Makebot Co., Ltd., which has been providing LLM-based chatbot solutions to various public institutions and private companies such as the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, is leading the establishment of generative AI in the field of civil complaints automation by dramatically improving the reliability of generative AI in the civil complaints sector through its proprietary RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology and hallucination removal technology.

CEO Jiwoong Kim of Makebot Co., Ltd. stated, “Competitiveness in generative AI technology will come from ideas and data generated at various customer touchpoints, as well as rapid customization capabilities,” and added that this year will be the inaugural year in which generative AI establishes itself not just as a subject of promotion and curiosity but as a practical work automation tool.
