Boseong-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Mobile Healthcare Project'

Providing Mobile-Based Public Health Management Services

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is recruiting participants for the public health management service, the ‘2024 Mobile Health Care Project,’ until the 17th.


The recruitment targets are residents aged 19 to under 65 who can use smartphones or workers employed in Boseong-gun. Among them, 50 people with high health risk factors in blood pressure, blood sugar, waist circumference, triglycerides, or high-density cholesterol based on tests will be given priority for registration.

Those diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes, or dyslipidemia, or currently taking related medications, are not eligible to participate.


The ‘Mobile Health Care Project,’ which will operate from June, provides health management services such as health monitoring, exercise guidance, and nutrition counseling based on individual health information self-recorded over six months using an activity tracker (smartwatch) and a mobile app provided by the Boseong-gun Public Health Center.


A public health center official said, “Through a non-face-to-face, one-on-one customized health management service without time and place restrictions, we aim to help residents form healthy lifestyle habits and prevent chronic diseases.”
