Jangseong-gun Calls for Entries for 'Symbolic Object to Shine at Next Year's Jeonnam Sports Festival' Until the 7th

Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, is accepting submissions for symbols to be used in the ‘64th Jeollanam-do Sports Festival’ and the ‘33rd Jeollanam-do Disabled Sports Festival’ scheduled to be held next year until the 7th.

According to the county on the 2nd, this contest is open to all citizens nationwide and includes eight categories: ▲symbol (emblem) ▲mascot ▲poster ▲slogan ▲catchphrase, among others.

The symbols should represent the meaning of the two major sports events, which are sports festivals that promote unity and cohesion among the 2 million residents of Jeollanam-do.

They should also encapsulate the themes of ‘Harmony and Change! A Happy Jangseong for the Residents’ and ‘A Great Leap Soaring to the World! The Era of Happiness in Jeonnam.’

Winners of the symbol, mascot, and poster categories will receive prize money of 2 million KRW each, with runners-up receiving 500,000 KRW. For catchphrases and slogans, winners will receive 500,000 KRW and runners-up 250,000 KRW.
