Jeongeup City in Jeollabuk-do announced on the 2nd that it will promote a support project to revitalize companies located in agricultural and industrial complexes with poor infrastructure conditions such as transportation.
The city plans to activate the agricultural and industrial complexes by supporting logistics costs and outsourced wastewater discharge treatment fees for resident companies, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of these companies.
The support target is small enterprises based on annual sales criteria under the Enforcement Decree of the Small and Medium Enterprise Act.
First, for logistics costs, companies can apply for 50% of transportation expenses recorded in the standard financial statements confirmed by the local tax office, and a certain portion of the applied amount will be paid up to a maximum of 15 million KRW depending on sales.
For outsourced wastewater discharge treatment fees, support of up to 17 million KRW will be provided based on tax invoices issued by the entrusted treatment companies.
Companies wishing to receive support must submit the required documents and apply by the 14th.
For more details, check the city’s website or contact the Future Industry Division at City Hall.
A city official said, “Through this project, we will strengthen the competitiveness of companies in the agricultural and industrial complexes and solidify our position as a city favorable for business.”
