IBK Industrial Bank Machine and Equipment Trading Specialized Platform
Added Loan Application Feature Within Platform to Expand Support for Machine Purchase Funds
IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 2nd that it has introduced a loan application feature to ‘GigaeGeoraeBOX,’ a specialized platform for buying and selling machinery and equipment for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
IBK Industrial Bank launched ‘GigaeGeoraeBOX’ on March 11 to resolve difficulties faced by SMEs when trading machinery and to expand the movable asset trading market. The platform is free and easy to use for any customer wishing to trade machinery, even without prior transactions with the bank.
With the addition of the loan application feature, users of ‘GigaeGeoraeBOX’ can now receive brokerage and financial services all at once?from searching for machinery and equipment listings to applying for loans to purchase them. This is expected to eliminate the inconvenience of customers having to visit the bank multiple times when loans are needed for machinery purchases.
The loan application process is simple. On the detailed page of the desired purchase item in ‘GigaeGeoraeBOX,’ users click the ‘Loan Application’ button, enter basic application information, undergo scraping for loan screening, and select the transaction branch.
Meanwhile, IBK Industrial Bank is conducting an event where customers can dispose of idle machinery and equipment and receive additional benefits. The first 100 customers who register machinery or equipment for sale on ‘GigaeGeoraeBOX’ will receive a 30,000 KRW Shinsegae gift certificate.
‘GigaeGeoraeBOX’ can be accessed by entering ‘machine.ibkbox.net’ in the PC or mobile internet address bar or through the digital management support platform ‘IBK BOX.’
An IBK Industrial Bank official stated, "We will continue to do our best to ensure that through the GigaeGeoraeBOX platform, customers can easily and conveniently conduct movable asset transactions?from searching for desired machinery to supporting loans for acquisition."
