On the 2nd, Danworld issued a press release saying, "Recently, on YouTube and various online communities, allegations have been raised that HYBE is involved with the cult-like religious group Danworld, leading to Danworld being slandered as a cult-like religious organization, causing significant material and psychological damage." Regarding the organization's identity, Danworld stated, "We are a health education company, not a religious organization," and added, "The malicious rumors spread by some netizens claiming that HYBE is connected to Danworld are completely false." Earlier, suspicions about HYBE's connection to Danworld surfaced online. This was due to claims that Global Cyber University, from which some members of BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER graduated, has a deep connection with Danworld. Global Cyber University is the alma mater of six BTS members except Jin. The founder of this university is known to be Lee Seungheon, the founder of Danworld.

However, Global Cyber University also stated, "We will take strong legal measures against malicious defamation directed at the university regarding allegations involving a specific religious group recently raised on social media," and emphasized, "The university does not operate any religious facilities or religious classes."

Meanwhile, a Danworld official warned, "We are currently monitoring malicious posts in real time and collecting evidence," and added, "We plan to take strong legal action against those who produce and spread indiscriminate fake news."
