Song Seok-jun "Running for People Power Party Floor Leader, Will Bear Any Burden"

Song Seok-jun, a member of the People Power Party, announced on the 2nd that he will run as a candidate for floor leader. This is the first official declaration of candidacy within the party.

On the same day, Song posted on his Facebook, saying, "I have given this a lot of thought and consulted with many people," and added, "Although it is a difficult and challenging path, I have decided to run as a candidate for the People Power Party floor leader."

Song is a three-term lawmaker, having served in the 20th and 21st National Assembly and was also elected in the 22nd election. His constituency is Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, located in the metropolitan area.

Song said, "No matter how rough and tough the road may be, if it is a path I must take solely for the people, the country, the party, and a better future, I will actively step forward," adding, "If there is any burden I must bear along the way, I will gladly carry it."
