Jeju Art & Light Festa with Shinhan Card
Shinhan Card announced on the 2nd that it will hold the ‘Jeju Art & Light Festa (JEJU ART&LIFE FESTA) with Shinhan Card’ together with Jeju Shinhwa World on the 5th and 6th.
Held at the Landing Convention Center of Jeju Shinhwa World, this event is composed of four zones: Art, Wedding, Luxury, and Flea Market. Focusing on regional cooperation, it involves Jeju-based active artists and local small business owners, offering a variety of attractions and enjoyment not only to Jeju residents but also to tourists and prospective couples. Admission to the event is free from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In the Art Zone, works containing stories of eight young artists from Jeju and artists active in Jeju will be exhibited and sold. Since 2021, Shinhan Card has been hosting the art fair ‘The Preview’ annually, focusing on nurturing emerging artists and galleries.
The Wedding Zone, prepared with the expertise accumulated through operating the ‘Shinhan SOL Wedding Fair,’ will feature 15 professional companies. Events include a wedding dress show debuting for the first time in Jeju and a couple caricature service for those who consult.
In the Luxury Zone, six luxury brands, jewelry, and clothing companies will participate to sell high-end items. Purchases made with Shinhan Card or Jeju Bank cards can enjoy 2 to 3 months of interest-free installments. Buyers will also be entered into a draw to receive Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott accommodation vouchers, dinner buffet tickets, and more.
A flea market has been set up to support sales channels for local small business owners in Jeju. Items such as Jinjihyang, dried tangerine peel snacks, Omegitteok, and crafts will be available for souvenir purchases. At the flea market, customers can receive up to 10% discount benefits of up to 5,000 KRW using the ‘Shinhan Card My Shop’ coupon. All buyers will be given tickets for the Shinhwa Theme Park Big 3 and a 15% discount voucher for Jeju Shinhwa World’s directly operated restaurants, valid until the 12th.
Meanwhile, Shinhan Card operates ‘Jeju Mall’ for selling Jeju specialties in cooperation with Seogwipo City, Jeju, through the win-win cooperation platform ‘Shinhan Card All That.’ It also supports related data to the Jeju Tourism Organization to assist in policy-making processes aimed at revitalizing the Jeju regional economy.
A Shinhan Card official said, “This special event, which rarely includes culture, arts, wedding fairs, and high-end items in Jeju, is expected to relieve the event thirst of Jeju residents and provide enjoyable experiences for travelers. In line with Shinhan Financial Group’s ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) strategy, we will make comprehensive efforts to revitalize the local commercial district by utilizing Shinhan Card’s platform and business base.”
