Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has published the "2024 Youth Policy Guide," which contains youth projects and useful lifestyle information.
The guidebook compiles information that helps young people into one volume to assist those busy with studies and job preparation.
The guide includes 79 projects across six areas: ▲Employment & Jobs ▲Startups ▲Housing ▲Culture, Sports & Education ▲Living & Welfare ▲Participation & Communication. It is designed to help young people easily find projects that can support them in each sector.
Additionally, it includes youth policies promoted by Seoul City and central government ministries, and the appendix features a youth map showing locations of frequently visited places such as libraries, youth centers, public parking lots, cultural facilities, and traditional markets.
The district plans to distribute this booklet to youth facilities and community service centers, and it will also be posted on the Gwangjin-gu District Office website and Gwangjin e-book platform for easy access anytime.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We prepared the Youth Policy Guide so that useful information that helps in daily life can be seen at a glance. I hope it will be actively utilized," adding, "We will continue to do our best to make Gwangjin-gu a happy place for young people."
Meanwhile, the district is implementing customized policies for a happy life for youth, such as the Youth Portal, Thousand-Won Breakfast, support for language and qualification exam fees, lifelong education vouchers, and youth festivals.
