Seoul City Recruiting Architectural Review Committee Members in 7 Fields

Seoul City announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting review committee members for seven architectural fields, including architectural planning and urban design.

This recruitment is due to the expiration of the terms of some members of the architectural committee. Members will be selected in seven fields: architectural planning, urban design, architectural structure, soil and foundation, architectural construction, environment, and landscaping. Selection will be made considering the importance of each field and the number of members whose terms have expired.

Applicants can apply via email from today until the 16th. Application forms can be downloaded from the respective field information on the Seoul City website.

The selection of committee members will be conducted through a strict review by the ‘Committee Selection Review Committee,’ composed of experts in the architectural field. The selection results will be announced at the end of this month, and selected members will be notified individually.

The Seoul City Architectural Committee consists of a total of 150 members. It handles ▲matters related to the enactment and revision of architectural ordinances ▲structural safety of multi-use buildings and buildings over 21 floors or with a total floor area of 100,000㎡ or more intended for sale, as well as special district buildings ▲excavation work deeper than 10 meters ▲and architectural and landscape reviews of public buildings.
