Choi Sang-mok, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, stated on the 1st, "We will establish an inter-ministerial 'Livelihood Stability Support Group' to closely monitor and promptly address field difficulties from the public's perspective with full commitment."

Choi Sang-mok, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, is presiding over the 'Emergency Economic Ministers' Meeting and Price-related Ministers' Meeting' held on May 1 at the Government Seoul Office in Jongno-gu, Seoul, delivering opening remarks.

Minister Choi held an 'Emergency Economic Ministers' Meeting and Price-Related Ministers' Meeting' at the Government Seoul Office and said, "We will not be complacent with the recovery trend indicated by the data, but will concentrate policy capabilities on restoring the livelihood economy, keeping in mind that true recovery is when the public empathizes."

He added, "We will also actively work to put the growth rate, which rebounded in the first quarter, on a steady track and secure sustainable growth engines."

He mentioned that a 'Dynamic Economy Roadmap' to enhance economic dynamism and improve the economic structure will be prepared by next month, and the fiscal policy direction supporting this will be discussed at the Fiscal Strategy Meeting.

At the meeting, measures such as the 'Social Mobility Improvement Plan' as part of the dynamic economy, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' 'Improvement Plan for Agricultural and Fishery Products Distribution Structure,' and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's 'Comprehensive Plan for Promoting the Game Industry' were discussed.

Minister Choi added regarding the social mobility improvement plan, "We will identify additional tasks in the future to comprehensively reflect them in the Dynamic Economy Roadmap and prepare follow-up measures within the second half of the year."
