Yeosu Geobukseon Festival Operates Direct Market for Agricultural and Specialty Products

From April 4 to 5 at the Marine Park Area

14 Companies Showcase Over 85 Items

Jeonnam Yeosu City (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) announced that it will operate a direct transaction market for agricultural specialty products at the Turtle Ship Festival held at the Marine Park area for two days from the 4th to the 5th.

A total of 14 companies will participate in this event, showcasing the city’s representative agricultural specialty products, providing visitors with the opportunity to purchase excellent agricultural specialty products at affordable prices.

You can find over 85 items including Dolsan Gat Kimchi, Dolsan Gat Jangajji, sea breeze mugwort processed products, mushroom processed products, Bangpung Makgeolli, and Camellia flower tea.

In addition, tasting events for Gat Kimchi, Makgeolli, flower tea, and more will be held, allowing visitors to taste and purchase directly. An event will also be held where customers who purchase over a certain amount will receive gifts such as newly harvested rice produced locally.

A city official said, “By linking this sales event with the Turtle Ship Festival period, it will provide various attractions and food, serving as an opportunity to promote the excellence of local agricultural specialty products to tourists visiting our city,” adding, “We will do our best to secure sales channels for specialty products so that continuous purchases can be made in the future.”
