Four Universities Including Daedeok University Selected... Certification Training Programs to be Conducted
The Daejeon Job and Economic Promotion Agency announced that four universities?Daeduk College, Daejeon University, Daejeon Health Sciences College, and Woosong Information College?have been selected to participate in the 2024 University Employment Competency Enhancement Project.
The University Employment Competency Enhancement Project supports each university with up to 23 million KRW to provide differentiated employment competency training tailored to each regional university.
Last year, the project provided employment competency training to 2,545 students across four universities, serving as a catalyst to help them in their job search.
This year, the four selected universities will operate various programs for 1,120 students, including certification training programs, lectures by current professionals and experts, and visits to local companies, to help students acquire the skills needed in the field.
Baek Woon-gyo, Director of the Daejeon Job and Economic Promotion Agency, stated, “Through this project, we will support university students enrolled in the region by enhancing their employment competencies and assisting with career planning after graduation, contributing to their settlement and growth in Daejeon.”
