FiberPro is showing strength. The news of signing a large-scale supply contract with Hanwha Aerospace appears to be influencing the stock price.
At 2:25 PM on the 30th, FiberPro is trading at 3,780 KRW, up 5.44% from the previous day.
FiberPro announced that it signed a supply contract for OO-class inertial measurement unit (IMU) export materials worth 17.9 billion KRW with Hanwha Aerospace on the same day. This amount corresponds to 92.3% of its recent sales revenue. The contract period extends until July 10, 2026. The company explained that detailed contract information is omitted due to defense industry security reasons.
Fiber optic inertial sensors and related products fundamentally measure the angular velocity of an object’s rotation to provide information on the object’s attitude and azimuth. Ultimately, they become inertial navigation devices used in vehicles, ships, aircraft, guided weapons, and more. The basic component is a gyroscope that measures angular velocity, which is combined to enable three-dimensional measurement in an inertial measurement unit (IMU). Additional circuits are added to form the final navigation device.

In the space industry, precise inertial sensors and inertial measurement units are required for navigation and attitude control of space launch vehicles and satellites.
