"Improving Work Efficiency with AI"... Increasing Generative AI Training in Companies

Recently, corporate training related to generative artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly increased, ranging from basic AI education for all employees to job-specific AI training.

Hunet announced on the 30th that the number of courses related to generative AI has tripled compared to the previous year as of April this year. While there was some demand for AI education centered around ChatGPT last year, this year has seen a substantial rise in corporate requests for generative AI training.

Previously, AI-related education was concentrated mainly in IT roles, but recent demand for AI training has diversified.

Recently, public enterprise A conducted 'ChatGPT' training for about 250 leadership-level employees, including the CEO. In the case of distribution company B, all employees received generative AI training. This education aimed to help employees understand AI ahead of the company-wide implementation of AI developed in-house. Additionally, there has been a growing demand for AI training tailored to specific roles such as manufacturing, IT, sales, and marketing, enabling immediate practical application of AI in the workplace.

In response to corporate requests, Hunet also launched the 'AI College,' which selects job-specific AI skills that can be quickly applied on the job. Differentiated AI tools can be learned according to roles such as strategy/planning, HR, marketing/sales, IT, and R&D. The recently held 'Job-specific ChatGPT One-day Class' was completely sold out.

A Hunet representative stated, "Since the emergence of ChatGPT, companies have begun to recognize the use of generative AI as essential from the perspective of productivity and efficiency. Even companies that have not yet adopted generative AI are conducting employee training. It seems there is a sense of urgency that not knowing is not an option, even if they do not use it immediately." He added, "Although economic downturns make corporate investment in education challenging, there is a competitive atmosphere to implement generative AI training."
