Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Soon-hee) completed the construction of the 'Data Integrated Management Platform' this month, which links, integrates, and visualizes various administrative information and district policy indicator data.

This platform was prepared for data-driven scientific and proactive administration, gathering a total of 154 key district policy status data from other institutions such as the Public Data Portal, National Statistical Portal, and Seoul Open Data Plaza, as well as real-time urban status, district policy indicators, policies, and pledges, all visualized intuitively in one place.

The platform consists of a total of nine menus: ▲Real-time Urban Status ▲Pledge Projects ▲District Status ▲Living Map ▲Urban Projects ▲Open Communication ▲Data Sharing ▲Dong Data Dashboard ▲Organization Chart. First, the Real-time Urban Status menu allows users to monitor disaster safety situations such as fire, rescue, and emergency medical services, as well as road conditions, air quality, and rainfall in real time.

The Pledge Projects menu details the progress of 61 unit pledge projects across seven sectors of the 8th elected Gangbuk-gu administration, including annual budget requirements, pledge fulfillment status, and detailed implementation plans for each project.

In the District Status section, financial data focusing on the district's revenue and expenditure were consolidated on one page, including budgets and funds currently used by each department. Additionally, district policy indicators such as total number of households, number of marriages, number of births, and number of beneficiaries were visualized.

The Living Map enables users to understand the age-specific population residing in 13 administrative dongs based on Gangbuk-gu resident registration data. Considering different standard ages for each policy, it also displays detailed population charts by age groups such as infants (0-6 years), youth (19-39 years), and middle-aged (40-64 years).

Furthermore, the Living Map includes data on facilities in 10 sectors such as welfare, education, urban economy, and environmental green spaces, as well as the status of the district's shared properties.

The Urban Projects section provides information on the progress stages and current status of 114 reconstruction and redevelopment projects, 11 district unit plans, and urban regeneration projects currently underway in the district. The Open Communication section compiles data on civil complaint reception and processing status, complaint keywords, and media reports.

Additionally, the Dong Data Dashboard allows comparison and analysis of the status of single-person households, welfare beneficiaries, senior centers, traditional markets, performance venues, sports facilities, and the number of installed CCTVs across the 13 administrative dongs in Gangbuk-gu. This enables the district to implement projects tailored to the characteristics of each dong based on data when promoting various policy projects.

Going forward, the district plans to accelerate the discovery of various specialized content reflecting the characteristics of the district, such as commercial area analysis, youth activities, and single-person households, based on the constructed platform. It also intends to develop additional services that residents can use through this platform.
