BNK Busan Bank Conducts 'Dongnae-gu Love House Repair Project'

On the 29th, Project Launch Ceremony at Dongnae-gu Senior Welfare Center

Repair of 20 Aging Houses in Dongnae-gu Area

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) held a launch ceremony for the ‘Dongnae-gu Love House Repair Project’ on the morning of the 29th at the Dongnae-gu Senior Welfare Center, together with Busan Transportation Corporation.

The ceremony was attended by about 70 people, including Bang Seong-bin, President of Busan Bank, Lee Byung-jin, President of Busan Transportation Corporation, Jang Jun-yong, Mayor of Dongnae-gu, Choi Geum-sik, Chairman of the Busan Community Chest of Korea, and volunteers.

The ‘Love House Repair Project’ is a public-private collaborative initiative aimed at improving the housing welfare of local residents. Since starting in Sasang-gu in June last year, it has repaired a total of 61 households and 8 senior centers in vulnerable housing environments in Sahagu and Haeundae areas.

Through this launch ceremony, 20 households in the underprivileged housing environment of Dongnae-gu were selected, and the Busan Bank Regional Volunteer Group and Busan Transportation Corporation Humetro Volunteer Group will carry out repairs on aging houses, including ▲ prevention of wall and roof leaks ▲ replacement of wallpaper and flooring ▲ repair of window screens.

Bang Seong-bin, President of Busan Bank, said, “I hope this will help our neighbors regain a home where they can dream, hope, happiness, memories, and the future, even if just a little.” He added, “We will continue to strive so that Busan Bank’s small efforts can bring positive changes to the local community.”
