'Resolving Everyday Inconveniences'... Incheon Namdong-gu Operates Mobile Driver's License Service Center

Namdong-gu, Incheon, is operating a 'Mobile Driver's License Service' in collaboration with the Incheon Driver's License Examination Office of the Road Traffic Authority to resolve residents' daily inconveniences.


The mobile service will be held on the 30th from 1 PM to 5 PM at the first-floor civil service office of Namdong-gu Office. This service provides one-stop support for license issuance on-site by staff from the Incheon Examination Office and is available to anyone visiting the district office.


The services offered include ▲ Class 1 regular license (aptitude test) ▲ Class 2 regular license (renewal) ▲ reissuance (loss, damage, mobile license, etc.), excluding Class 1 large special licenses and services for elderly drivers aged 75 and above.


After submitting documents on-site, the driver's license will be sent by registered mail. Depending on the license type, necessary items include the driver's license, ID card, health checkup results, and photos.

Park Jonghyo, Mayor of Namdong-gu, said, "This will help residents who have difficulties obtaining licenses due to time and physical constraints," adding, "We will continue to take proactive administrative measures to resolve inconveniences in daily life."


A representative from the Incheon Driver's License Examination Office stated, "The number of people subject to aptitude tests (renewals) this year has increased by more than 40% compared to last year, reaching about 220,000, and as a concentration of civil complaints is expected in the second half of the year, we hope for active participation in this mobile service."
