Gwangju Dongbu Police Station, Child Traffic Accident Prevention... Green Mothers' Association Launch Ceremony

On the 26th at 10 a.m., the Gwangju Dongbu Police Station held a Green Mothers' Association inauguration ceremony to prevent children's traffic accidents in the small conference room on the 2nd floor of the Gwangju Dongbu Police Station, attended by 25 members including Green Mothers from 9 local elementary schools.

At the inauguration ceremony, the '2024 Green Mothers' Association Executive Team Election' and the 'Presentation of Appreciation Plaques to the 2023 Executive Team' were held, creating a pledge to secure safe commuting routes for children going to and from school.

Kang Gi-hyun, chief of the Dongbu Police Station, said, "I sincerely thank the Green Mothers' Association for their hard work over the past year, and I will do my best for children's traffic safety this year as well."

The Dongbu Police Station plans to continue conducting school zone campaigns in cooperation with related organizations such as the Green Mothers' Association and the Model Drivers' Association to prevent children's traffic accidents.
