Korea Federation of SMEs Opens Registration for 'Online and Offline Integrated Product Evaluation Fair' Participation

Recruitment of Excellent SMEs Wishing to Enter 5 Major Department Stores, E-Mart, Lotte ON, and Coupang

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on the 28th that it is accepting applications for participation in the product evaluation meeting to select companies for entry into online and offline distribution channels in the first half of 2024.

The distribution channels participating in the product evaluation meeting include ▲offline sectors such as the five major department stores (Galleria, Lotte, Shinsegae, Hyundai, AK) and E-Mart ▲online sectors such as LotteON and Coupang.

The target applicants for the product evaluation meeting are small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners manufacturing consumer goods domestically. The eligible product categories include all items except large home appliances and furniture. Participating SMEs will have the opportunity to enter distribution channels through evaluations by specialized MDs in each sector during the product evaluation meeting.

To provide practical sales channel support, benefits such as preferential commission rates, exemption from promotional expenses, and marketing support will be granted to the final selected companies for each distribution channel.

The application deadline is until 6 PM on May 10. The product evaluation meeting for SMEs that pass the document screening is scheduled to be held on May 28.

Son Seong-won, Head of the Small Business Policy Office at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, said, “Securing sales channels is the foremost challenge and task for all SMEs starting their business,” and added, “We hope this product evaluation meeting will be an opportunity for SMEs to pioneer sales channels for excellent products and serve as a stepping stone for their development.”
