Creating Seongdong-gu Public Profile on Local Community Platform 'Danggeun' App to Provide Useful Information on District Events... Loyalty Event Held Until May 3 with Mobile Coupon Giveaway to 100 Winners
Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jung Won-oh) has launched the 'Seongdong-gu Office Public Profile (Seongdong-gu Office Danggeun)' on the local community platform app 'Danggeun' to strengthen communication with residents and has begun full-scale operation.
The 'Public Profile' is a service that allows local residents using the 'Danggeun' app to check news posted by public institutions and communicate. With the launch of 'Seongdong-gu Office Danggeun,' Seongdong-gu plans to quickly deliver useful local information for daily life, such as major district projects, events, and various educational programs.
Unlike other social networking services (SNS), users must verify their neighborhood via the Global Positioning System (GPS) to join, so information is automatically exposed to residents who set Seongdong-gu as their neighborhood. Additionally, the comment function within posts allows real-time communication.
To promote the newly introduced Public Profile, Seongdong-gu is holding the 'Become a Regular with Seongdong-gu' event until May 3. To participate, users must upload a verification photo of having 'Become a Regular' with the Seongdong-gu Public Profile on their personal social networking service (SNS) from the 'Danggeun' app, then submit the link to the post or the verification photo via a Google form. On May 8, Seongdong-gu will draw 100 participants and award them mobile coupons worth approximately 10,000 KRW (for coffee and cake).
In addition to 'Danggeun,' Seongdong-gu operates five social networking services (SNS) including blogs, Facebook, and Instagram, delivering customized district news by leveraging the characteristics of each channel.
Jung Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, “By utilizing the local community platform app 'Danggeun,' we expect to deliver district news more effectively to those who actually live or spend time in Seongdong-gu,” and added, “We will continue to use various promotional channels of Seongdong-gu to communicate more closely with residents.”
