Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province operates the ‘8282 Civil Complaint Mobile Team’ to resolve daily inconveniences, along with the ‘Visiting Mobile Laundry Service’ that improves hygiene conditions in everyday life.

The ‘Visiting Mobile Laundry Service’ uses a special vehicle capable of washing and drying, circulating through the 8 towns and townships to wash bulky items like blankets that are difficult to clean at home. It also sterilizes and dries them at high temperatures, playing a significant role in improving residents’ hygiene. In the event of disasters, it will be utilized for disaster site recovery to contribute to enhancing local welfare.

In particular, the Cheongsong-gun Saemaeul Association collects and delivers laundry from vulnerable groups with mobility difficulties and participates in the ‘Visiting Mobile Laundry Service,’ contributing to increased resident satisfaction.

Kwon Dong-jun, chairman of the Cheongsong-gun Saemaeul Association, said, “I feel great fulfillment in volunteering when I hear residents express gratitude for washing heavy blankets cleanly, which they cannot easily do alone.”
