Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) announced on the 26th that it has newly organized the Seongbuk-gu Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee and recently presented appointment letters.

At the appointment ceremony held on the 22nd at the Future Planning Office of Seongbuk-gu Office, Mayor Lee Seung-ro presented appointment letters to 10 newly appointed committee members and said, “The real estate prices decided by the Seongbuk-gu Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee are an important part used for taxes and welfare policies, so I hope the committee members will demonstrate their capabilities to ensure these prices serve as a fair basis for taxation.”

The newly formed Seongbuk-gu Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee consists of 3 ex officio members and 10 appointed members, including experts with extensive knowledge and experience in the real estate field such as appraisers, tax accountants, and licensed real estate agents. They are responsible for reviewing and deciding on individual official land prices, individual housing prices, opinions, and objections.

The individual real estate prices reviewed and decided by the Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee on this day will be publicly announced on the 30th. The individual official real estate prices as of January 1, 2024, can be viewed by visiting the Real Estate Information Division, Tax Division 1 of the district office, or the local community service center, or through the online Real Estate Price Disclosure Service. Individual official land prices can also be checked on the land register.

Landowners, homeowners, and other interested parties who have objections to the official land and housing prices can fill out an objection form available at the Real Estate Information Division, Tax Division 1, or the local community service center (civil affairs office) and submit it in person, via the online Real Estate Price Disclosure Service, by mail, or by fax. The objection form can be downloaded from the online Real Estate Price Disclosure Service.

For the individual official real estate prices that have objections filed, a re-investigation of the characteristics of the land and housing will be conducted, followed by verification by appraisers and the Korea Real Estate Board, and then submitted to the Seongbuk-gu Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee for review and deliberation. The results of the handling will be notified to the objectors.

Meanwhile, the district office will continue to provide an “Appraiser Consultation Service” during the objection period as well as the viewing period for inquiries about individual official land prices. Those who wish to use the consultation service can make an appointment in advance to designate a consultation date and receive consultation either in person or by phone.

For inquiries about individual official land prices and to make reservations for the appraiser consultation service, please contact the Real Estate Information Division of Seongbuk-gu Office by phone.
