Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation to Hold Women's Employment and Entrepreneurship Roundtable on the 25th

The Gyeonggi Job Foundation-operated Gyeonggi Metropolitan Women's Saeil Center held a 'Women’s Employment and Entrepreneurship Support Roundtable' on the 25th at Hwaseong City’s Kkum Maru.


This roundtable was organized to strengthen the collaborative system in the Hwaseong and Osan areas for activating women’s employment and entrepreneurship, following last year’s initiative by the Gyeonggi Metropolitan Women's Saeil Center.


The event was attended by the Gyeonggi Employers Federation, Hwaseong Chamber of Commerce, Hwaseong Women's Saeil Center, Osan Women's Saeil Center, Hwaseong Women’s Entrepreneurship Platform Kkum Maru, Hanshin University and Hyupsung University University Job Plus Centers, among others.


Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation to Hold Women's Employment and Entrepreneurship Roundtable on the 25th Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation held a roundtable for women's employment and entrepreneurship support organizations on the 25th.

The meeting proceeded with sharing the current status of women’s employment and entrepreneurship support projects by each institution for this year, followed by discussions on collaboration methods among the institutions.


Park Yoon-jung, Director of the Gyeonggi Metropolitan Saeil Center, stated, "Low birth rates and women’s employment are issues that must be considered together. We need to strengthen support systems that enable women to work through expanded collaboration with local communities." She added, "We will regularize the roundtable and strive to activate women’s employment and entrepreneurship by providing job training and employment services tailored to (prospective) entrepreneurs through cooperation with local institutions."


The Gyeonggi Job Foundation’s Gyeonggi Metropolitan Saeil Center operates programs to promote women’s employment, including customized vocational training for women, spreading work-life balance culture among companies, Working Mom & Daddy Work-Life Balance Academy, university employment support program ‘SuwooKer (Start of Women’s Career)’, women’s job fairs, and discovering women aspiring to start businesses.
