Jongmyongrae, Changwon Special City 2nd Vice Mayor, Awards Ceremony at Changwon Disabled Shooting World Cup

Jomyeong-rae, the 2nd Deputy Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, attended the awards ceremony for the P3 Mixed 25m Pistol SH1 event on the first day of the official competition of the 2024 Changwon Disabled Shooting World Cup on the 25th, presenting medals to the gold, silver, and bronze medalists and congratulating them.

The awardees are ▲ Gold medal: DENYSIUK O from Ukraine ▲ Silver medal: BHAT Amir Ahmad from India ▲ Bronze medal: Park Segyun from the Republic of Korea.

The honored medalists enjoyed the joy of their awards, encouraging each other and sharing bright smiles during the photo time.

Deputy Mayor Jo said, “I salute all the athletes who spared no valuable effort for this competition and support a greater future,” adding, “I hope this competition will demonstrate the precious values of sports such as hope, courage, dreams, effort, and passion.”

With the slogan “From Changwon to the World! Shoot for Your Dream!”, this competition, held for the first time in Korea in 2022 in Changwon City, has been hosted in Changwon for three consecutive years. The official competition runs from the 25th to the 30th, concluding with the official departure of the athletes on May 1, marking the grand finale.
