30s Male Arrested for Indiscriminately Exposing Genitals to Women on the Street

A man in his 30s was arrested by the police on charges of public indecency after exposing his genitals to a woman walking in a park in Gimhae, Gyeongnam.

According to the Gimhae Western Police Station on the 25th, a report was received the previous day at 7:14 p.m. of a man filming a woman walking nearby with his cellphone and exposing his genitals near a park on Wolsan-ro in Gimhae City.

The responding police conducted a search of the area and arrested the suspect, identified as A in his 30s, at around 7:35 p.m. as a quasi-caught-in-the-act offender while he was fleeing to avoid a police inquiry.

The arrested A is reported to have admitted to the crime. The police have seized A’s cellphone and are conducting an electronic forensic investigation.

Regarding multiple reports recently received of a man with a similar appearance to A committing the same crime, the police plan to investigate A for any additional offenses and the motive behind the crime.
