Hapcheon-gun Holds Interim Report Meeting on Agricultural Development Plan Establishment Service

Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 25th that it held an interim report meeting for the 'Hapcheon-gun Agriculture, Rural Area, and Food Industry Development Plan Establishment' project in the small conference room of the county office, in accordance with Article 14 of the Framework Act on Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Food Industry.

Hapcheon-gun is holding an interim report meeting for the establishment of the agricultural development plan service.

The report meeting was conducted by Plan B Co., Ltd., with the attendance of 28 members of the Hapcheon-gun Agriculture, Rural Area, and Food Industry Policy Deliberation Committee, established under Article 15 of the related law, and 6 heads of relevant departments. The project period is from February 1, 2024, to July 29, 2024 (6 months), and it is a statutory plan that must be established every five years from 2024 to 2028.

The county will link the policy plans of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (2023?2027) and Gyeongsangnam-do Province (2024?2028) to derive a differentiated plan that fits the regional characteristics and conditions.

Additionally, it will harmonize with related plans such as Vision 2040 Hapcheon-gun Long-term Development Comprehensive Plan to systematically derive goals for the future of Hapcheon-gun’s agriculture and rural areas, agricultural policy directions, and key promotion areas.

County Governor Kim Yoon-cheol stated, “We will do our best to establish a substantial plan by reflecting the valuable opinions of representative individuals who care for and love agriculture and rural areas, showing interest in Hapcheon-gun’s agricultural policy.”
