To this end, the city will implement measures in the public sector such as ▲banning the use of disposable cups and mandating the use of personal cups ▲issuing electronic receipts and encouraging the use of tumblers ▲carrying out the Change 100 pledge campaign ▲declaring Osan City's Change 100 initiative ▲prohibiting disposable cups in public institutions ▲and running a campaign to save paper towels in restrooms within government buildings. The city plans to encourage departments and individuals who excel in these efforts through evaluations.

In the private sector, the city will promote ▲operating sharing markets without disposable products ▲voluntary reduction of disposable product use targeting food service businesses ▲and practicing and promoting the reduction of disposable product use at events with more than 100 attendees.

Lee Kwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, said, "At a time when environmental issues are more important than ever, we will actively participate in reducing the use of disposable products in the public sector to lead efforts toward carbon neutrality and prevention of environmental pollution."
