Wacom Movingke 13.3-inch OLED Panel
"High Color Reproduction and Improved Pen Detection"
Samsung Display is entering the creator-focused IT device market by supplying organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels to Wacom, a global leader in pen tablet technology. This marks the first time Wacom has adopted OLED in its products.

On the 25th, Samsung Display announced that it will supply 13.3-inch OLED panels for Wacom's newly launched OLED pen display, the Wacom Movingck. Wacom is a global leader in the creative pen tablet sector. The Wacom Movingck is the thinnest and lightest among Wacom products, weighing 420g.
The Wacom Movingck features OLED technology that emits light on its own without a backlight, helping content creators to express and visually confirm colors more accurately. Unlike liquid crystal displays (LCDs), which always have the backlight on and cannot avoid light interference, self-emissive OLED can turn off pixels individually to display true black, resulting in superior dark image (low grayscale) performance.
Samsung OLED delivers high color reproduction because the pure red, green, and blue (RGB) light emitted by organic materials reaches the user's eyes without passing through a color filter. The color gamut of the Wacom Movingck fully meets 100% of the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) P3 color space.
The pen experience, a distinctive feature of the Wacom brand, has also been significantly enhanced with the adoption of OLED. Unlike LCDs, which require considerable time for the physical rotation of the liquid crystal, OLED responds instantly to electrical signals. The thinner thickness compared to LCD reduces the distance between the touch recognition area and the actual pen tip, further improving the pen experience.
Additionally, thanks to the OLED panel, the Wacom Movingck resolves issues commonly found in LCD tablets, such as light leakage caused by pen pressure and discomfort from backlight unit (BLU) heat generation.
Jo Yong-seok, Executive Director and Head of Marketing Team at Samsung Display’s Small and Medium-sized Business Division, said, "The collaboration with Wacom, a leader in the professional pen tablet market, once again proves the superior image quality of Samsung OLED. Especially since this product is part of Wacom’s new lineup focusing on portability, we hope more creators will experience the unique advantages of OLED."
Koji Yano, Vice President of Wacom’s Brand Business Division, stated, "We expect the value and completeness of Wacom products to be elevated to a new level through collaboration with Samsung Display, the maker of the world’s best OLED."
