KOSPI Fluctuates Around 2650 Amid Foreign and Institutional Dual Selling

The KOSPI is fluctuating around the 2650 level amid selling pressure from foreigners and institutions.

As of 9:30 AM on the 25th, the KOSPI recorded 2649.32, down 26.43 points (0.99%) from the previous trading day.

By investor type, individuals are net buyers with 281.2 billion KRW. On the other hand, foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 55.3 billion KRW and 232.7 billion KRW, respectively.

By sector, insurance and food & beverage are slightly up within 1%. Meanwhile, electric & electronics, manufacturing, services, and pharmaceuticals are down more than 1%.

Among the top market cap stocks, Samsung Electronics is trading at 77,100 KRW, down 1,500 KRW (1.91%) from the previous trading day. SK Hynix is down 2.84%. LG Energy Solution, Samsung Biologics, and Celltrion are all down more than 1%. Except for KB Financial, most of the top market cap stocks are declining.

The KOSDAQ recorded 862.71, up 0.48 points (0.06%).

By investor type, individuals are net buyers with 97.5 billion KRW. Meanwhile, foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 67.4 billion KRW and 23.9 billion KRW, respectively.

By sector, finance is up more than 4%. Meanwhile, general electric & electronics is down 1.47%. Other sectors such as entertainment culture, digital content, and manufacturing are down within 1%.

Among the top market cap stocks, EcoPro BM traded at 239,500 KRW, down 6,000 KRW (2.44%) from the previous trading day. Samchundang Pharmaceutical is down 2.76%. On the other hand, EcoPro surged more than 6%. HLB and Enchem are up more than 2%.
