Professor Lee Sang-ju of the Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) received a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare on the 19th for his contributions to the 'Community Primary Health Care Project.'

Since being appointed as a professor in the Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology in 2011, Professor Lee has contributed to youth health promotion by implementing smoking cessation education programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. He has also played a significant role in community health promotion activities with students, meal and nutrition management support projects for integrated care recipients, and ensuring the smooth operation of primary health care projects as part of the Busan Healthy City Project Support Group.

In particular, since 2021, he has contributed to community health promotion through consulting and advising for the smooth operation and efficient project execution of village health centers. He was highly praised for revitalizing health community organizations within village health centers and forming networks among health communities, facilitating communication and solidarity to promote community health.

Professor Lee Sang-ju of the Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology stated, “I will develop and practice various nursing activities that can contribute to the health promotion of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology nursing students and local residents.”
