Seocho-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeon Seong-su) announced on the 25th that the public indoor playground for infants and toddlers, 'Seoripul Nori School (Seoul-style Kids Cafe) Bangbae 2-dong Branch (8 Bangbaecheon-ro 24-gil),' reopened on the 23rd.
Seoripul Nori School is the third public indoor playground established by the district, following the Cultural Arts Park Branch and Yangjae 1-dong Branch. It remodeled the district-run 'Bangbae Smart Seoripul Nori School,' which opened in 2021 for young children, into a facility accessible to all infants and toddlers.
With a total floor area of 242㎡, it is available for children under the age of five. Play facilities such as climbing, slides, ball pits, and kitchen play are given fun names like 'Ppalli Ppalli Lightning Class,' 'Eussya Eussya Jungle Gym,' 'Eonggeum Eonggeum Net Play,' 'Yeongcha Yeongcha Tarzan Class,' 'Malang Malang Ball Pit,' 'Doran Doran Role Play,' and 'Ajang Ajang Playground,' allowing children to engage in physical and fine motor activities in a familiar way.
Safety management staff and caregivers are stationed at all times, and a 'Play Care Service' is also operated for preschool children aged 36 months and older, where caregivers assist with safe play upon request by guardians.
The operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. There are three sessions per day, each lasting two hours. After each session, cleaning and ventilation are conducted considering safety and hygiene. Reservations for the following week's use (Tuesday to Monday) can be made every Tuesday at 9 a.m. through the 'Seoul Our Neighborhood Care Portal.' The usage fee is 3,000 KRW per accompanying parent, with an additional 2,000 KRW charged separately for the care service.
