AI Auto Investment Quantac, Launches U.S. Stock Investment Product

AI automatic investment platform Quantec is launching a new U.S. stock investment product in response to the increased preference of individual investors for the U.S. stock market.

According to the Korea Securities Depository's Securities Information Portal (SEIBro), the amount of U.S. stocks held by domestic investors has continuously increased for three consecutive months, reaching $74.82887 billion (approximately 103 trillion KRW) as of the end of March. Quantec is actively targeting individual investors with this new U.S. stock investment product, reflecting the ongoing high interest and demand for the U.S. stock market.

The U.S. stock investment product introduced by Quantec is called "Discovering Growing U.S. Companies (Quantec Q-Balance Overseas Stocks No. 2)." It constructs a portfolio by analyzing financial indicators such as net income and net debt ratio among the Russell 1000 stocks, which consist of the top 1,000 companies by market capitalization in the U.S.

The algorithm used in this product, "Quantec Q-Balance Overseas Stocks No. 2 (Aggressive Investment Type)," has recorded a cumulative return of 40% from its public disclosure in August 2022 through the 22nd of this month on the Koscom Robo-Advisor Testbed, demonstrating stable operational performance.

Alongside the U.S. stock product, Quantec is also launching a domestic stock product. "Discovering Growing Domestic Companies (Quantec Q-Balance Domestic Stocks No. 2)" identifies high-growth companies based on profitability, liquidity, and financial soundness.

A Quantec discretionary investment representative stated, "Recently, financial market volatility has been increasing due to global issues such as the Middle East crisis, delayed U.S. interest rate cuts, and exchange rates. Along with the launch of new products, we will actively utilize Quantec’s sophisticated AI risk management module ‘Q-X’ to respond swiftly to market uncertainties and risks such as volatility."
