Join the 'Guro Carbon Zero (ZERO) Walking Event'~~~

Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) will hold the May online and offline ‘Guro Carbon Zero (ZERO) Walking’ event.

In March, the district revamped the existing Anyangcheon Love Family Health Walk into the Guro Carbon Zero (ZERO) Walk, specifying the event’s direction toward practicing carbon neutrality.

Additionally, the mobile app for online participation was revamped to ‘On Guro,’ and the participation sections were expanded from one to four locations.

The offline walking event, where participants gather and walk together, will start at 7:30 a.m. on May 11 from the Anyangcheon Gocheokgyo A Soccer Field. It is a 4 km course that goes around Ogeumgyo, Sindorim Park Golf Course, and the Anyangcheon walking trail. Anyone can visit the event site on the day of the event without a separate application. Energy-saving promotion booths such as Eco Mileage will be operated, and the event will conclude with a prize draw.

For residents who find it difficult to participate in the offline event, the online event will also be operated continuously. For two months in May and June, participants can walk one of the designated sections along the Anyangcheon riverside path, Anyangcheon embankment path, Dorimcheon Olle Trail, or Maebongsan foothill path, and verify certain points through the ‘On Guro’ walking app. Among those who complete the course, prizes will be awarded by lottery in July.
