Status of Micro Cluster Satellite Good... Normal Operation Confirmed at 4:30 PM

The Ministry of Science and ICT reported that the first microsatellite cluster, launched from the Mahia launch site in New Zealand at 7:32 a.m. local time (10:32 a.m. local time), has entered orbit and is generally in good condition.

At around 11:57 a.m. (Korean time), the Ministry explained that analysis of the satellite data received by the ground station of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute in Daejeon showed that the solar panels have deployed normally and are producing stable power.


The Ministry plans to further verify the normal operation of the first microsatellite cluster by checking the satellite's transmission and reception status during communication with the Svalbard (Norway) ground station at around 4:30 p.m. (Korean time).
