Korea Zinc Intensifies Safety Accident Prevention... Launches 'Begin Again Campaign'

"Voluntary Practice and Habitualization of Basic Safety Rules"

Korea Zinc announced on the 24th that it has officially launched the company-wide 'Begin Again' campaign this month to create a safe workplace.

Korea Zinc explained, "This is a company-wide campaign aimed at voluntarily practicing and habituating basic safety rules to build a safe company."

Korea Zinc has set 'Begin Again: Safety' as this year's slogan. The safety practice themes include ▲Prevention of traffic accidents ▲Prevention of five major safety accidents ▲Health management practice ▲Fostering healthy lifestyle habits ▲Securing basic safety. The company also plans to hold sessions to help all employees understand the meaning of the Begin Again campaign.

Lee Jun-yong, head of Korea Zinc's Onsan Smelter, said, "We will select a new theme each year and put it into practice. We will develop this into a unique safety practice campaign of Korea Zinc and build a safe and healthy workplace that all our members create together."
