Dong-Eui Science University Faculty and Staff Volunteer Group Hosts Midterm Exam Snack Sharing Event

The faculty and staff volunteer group of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) held a midterm exam snack sharing event from the 22nd to the 24th to encourage students during the midterm exam period.

The faculty and staff volunteer group at Dong-Eui University of Science is holding a snack-sharing event for midterm exams.

For this event, the volunteer group prepared 1,000 pieces of bread and beverages with their fund, and President Kim Young-do, along with the volunteer group members, personally distributed the prepared snacks to the students.

President Kim Young-do of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology said, “We organized this event to encourage students who are exhausted from studying during the exam period and to create an opportunity for communication,” adding, “We will continue to hold events that support and encourage students frequently.”

Son Seong-eun, a student from the Department of Nursing, class of 2019, who received the support and snacks, said, “I was planning to study late at the library during the exam period, but receiving snacks and encouragement from the president gives me strength,” and added, “I will not forget the president’s warm encouragement and will study hard to achieve good grades.”

Since its launch in 2008, the Dong-Eui Institute of Technology faculty and staff volunteer group has been conducting various social contribution activities such as supporting meal services, sharing kimchi and briquettes, based on funds collected monthly from staff salaries and donations, to help low-income groups and elderly people in welfare blind spots.
