Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform New Party, said on the 24th that regarding Cho Guk, leader of the Cho Guk Innovation Party, advocating for a joint opposition meeting before the summit, "If various events are attached, the very meaning of the meeting between the president and the leaders of the negotiating groups, which many people expect, could change."
After finishing the Supreme Council meeting at the National Assembly that morning, Lee told reporters, "I positively evaluate that Leader Cho, who has not been in party politics for long, is enthusiastically making various proposals," but added, "It would be good if the party's direction and policies were organized."
Lee said, "Only then can we try to promote dialogue with the Cho Guk New Party, but it feels too inconsistent," and reiterated, "It would be good if the party's direction and policies were organized."

He continued, "It seems that they are speaking in detail about issues such as prosecution reform or matters that the Cho Guk New Party is interested in, but then suddenly brought up the issue of flying economy class on a plane without context," adding, "These are topics handled by the Innovation Committee or similar bodies, so suddenly raising them makes it difficult to respond or discuss together."
Lee said, "Since the public's interest is currently focused on the nationwide 250,000 won support fund and the special prosecutor, I hope common topics can be gathered," and added, "Regarding the 250,000 won support fund, I repeatedly request revisions so as not to give the impression of having an economically light perception as in the last presidential election."
At the Supreme Council meeting that day, Lee also effectively requested Leader Lee Jae-myung to withdraw the support fund proposal, saying, "I expect a big decision as a leader for the Republic of Korea."
